Alcohol and glass containers are prohibited at all City of Alexandria Parks and City of Alexandria Sports and Recreation Complexes. The City of Alexandria Parks and Recreation Department must be contacted prior to the use of any baseball, tennis, soccer and softball facilities. The Parks & Recreation Department’s phone number is 318-473-1130, or visit the office located in the Alexandria City Complex at 2021 Industrial Park Rd., Bldg. A., Alexandria, LA 71303.

The rental fee for baseball & softball sports complexes is $75.00 per field per day plus proof of having a $1-million dollar liability insurance policy with the City of Alexandria listed as the secondary insured party is required to be provided. A signed contract, payment and the proof of liability insurance are required to be provided before the event date. Call for more information.

Parks are closed at sundown except for the tennis courts which close at 10 PM. Parks and tennis courts are closed during bad weather. All facilities are subject to closure during maintenance.

 

FIELD REGULATIONS

  • Do not enter if gates are locked
  • Persons acting in a disorderly or unsafe manner will be removed from premises.

The following are prohibited:

  • Alcoholic Beverages
  • Firearms
  • Smoking
  • Littering
  • Glass Containers
  • Personal Coolers
  • Loud Music
  • Offensive Language
  • Unauthorized Vehicles
  • Bicycles, Rollerblades, Skateboards, etc.
  • Hitting balls against fences

Persons acting in a disorderly or unsafe manner will be removed from premises.

 

Park Regulations

  • Hours of operation are 10:00 a. m. to 7:00 p. m.

The following are prohibited:

  • Alcoholic Beverages
  • Firearms
  • Smoking
  • Littering
  • Glass Containers
  • Personal Coolers
  • Loud Music
  • Offensive Language
  • Bicycles, Rollerblades, Skateboards, etc.

Persons acting in a disorderly or unsafe manner will be removed from premises. Dogs must be on a leash.

The following buildings are available for rent. Fees include use of tables, chairs and setup and are subject to change without notice. To rent, call the number listed to the right of the facility. All facilities are closed on Holidays.
