Compton Park

Located in a residential area in western Alexandria, this park serves as one of the crown jewels of the City’s park system. Compton Park features large walking trail loops with interpretive signage as well as low, decorative masonry walls that protect internal turf areas from vehicles. These lawn areas are occupied by playground structures, benches and trash cans. Attached to one of the trails is an observation deck that allows park visitors to experience the native wetlands in the area. Parking available.
