Hynson Bark Dog Park

The park is located between Masonic Drive and Lee Street across from City Park and is adjacent to the city tennis complex. The park is open from sunrise until sunset and is divided into two sections, one for large dogs (more than 35 pounds) and one for small dogs (less than 35 pounds). No female dogs in heat or puppies under 4 months of age are allowed and all dogs are expected to be properly inoculated and disease free. Handlers must be 16 or older and owners are expected to pick up after their animals. Pick-up stations with gloves are provided. Dogs must be leashed while entering and exiting the park and have a current rabies vaccination tag on their collar.
